LASAGNA RAPIDA (QUICK AND EASY LASAGNA)

1 BOX ANTONI CHEESE RAVIOLI   (50 COUNT)

1 QUART TOMATO SAUCE

1 LB MOZZARELLA, SHREDDED

  1. SPREAD TWO LADLES OF SAUCE IN BOTTOM OF 8 X 8 BAKING PAN
  2. PLACE ONE LAYER OF ANTONI RAVIOLI IN BOTTOM OF PAN (PILLOW UP) AND SPREAD ON LADLE OF SAUCE OVER RAVIOLI.  SPREAD ALL MOZZARELLA EVENLY.  (AT THIS POINT YOU COULD ADD PRE-FRIED CHOPPED MEAT OR SLICED PEPPERONI.  SOME ITALIANS PREFER A LAYER OF THINLY SLICED HARD-BOILED EGGS.)
  3. PLACE SECOND LAYER OF RAVIOLI )PILLOW DOWN) AND SPREAD SAUCE OVER TOP.  ADD MORE MOZZARELLA AND SOME GRATED CHEESE, IF DESIRED.
  4. BAKE IN PRE-HEATED 400 DEGREE OVEN FOR 45 MINUTES.
